I just wanted to say what an honor it is to have all of you in our community. The love, support, sweat, and tears you have given is such a blessing to this community. I live on the Gulf Coast, in a small city called Gautier, just 15-20 east of Biloxi. To hear your testimonies of the reality vs the TV coverage was overwhelming - is just how I tell others that live away and can't understand what it is we have been through here. The news/media was and is only interested in New Orleans. Yes, New Orleans was devastated as well, but not to the severity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. the entire Mississippi Coast line had endured such massive devastation and destruction, and seems all you hear about is New Orleans. Thank you MTV for allowing these young adults to support the Mississippi Coast and to help spread the word that we are in fact. . Not Ok! yes it is true, it's been 6 months and the coast doesn't look much different from August 30th.
Our hearts go out to you all. . .your dedication again is appreciated beyond words. Thank you just isn't enough, but I can only hope that the residents of Mississippi Coast, will return the favor when it's time to pay our dues to fellow communities. I know that whenever something devastating occurs else where in the world, we all are quick to donate and volunteer. I guess it's true what they say. . .do unto to others as you'd want them to do unto you.
thank you all - with great admiration -
Coast resident - Ciji

STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know you're looking at this and saying DAMN this shit looks long, but it's not. All of it is pretty much just clicking NEXT NEXT NEXT, but I decided to include these steps just to be sure no one has any problems. If you have any problems, give me a call 443.600.2829 or email kennypham@gmail.com .

Only thing you need is WINDOWS XP, email me back and I'll show you an alternative way.
Website: http://scpics.tkoteam.net/
Login: stormcorps
Password: stormcorps
You only need the login and password if you changing files and pictures.
This is EASY! Really and it's totally worth it, because there is an unlimited amount of space that I have on here. And you can upload all your pictures at once vs. one-by-one. Just follow the directions and use your common sense. After you download the file (first step) and install it, you won't have to do it again.
If you have 170 some pics like me, its gonna take a little while for the pics to upload, but the great thing about it, after you finish following the steps, you can just minimize the window and let it upload. Way better than uploading only 5 pics at a time.
1. Download XP Configuration File. ( http://scpics.tkoteam.net/publish_xp.php )
2. Then open the file and it'll ask you "Are you sure you want to add this info…" click Yes. You can delete the file afterwards if you'd like.
3. Open the folder containing the pictures you want to upload.
4. Highlight the pictures you'd like to upload.
5. There should be a link on the left under 'File and Folder Tasks' that says 'Publish this file to the web…' Click this link and follow the instructions.
6. When you come to 'Where do you publish these files?' Don't choose MSN, choose the other one, it should say Storm Corps.
7. When asked for a username and password, they're both stormcorps.
1. Username: stormcorps
2. Password: stormcorps
8. After you login, you should see 'Select the Album to which to publish'. Click 'Create New Album' the Next.
9. At the next screen, type your full first and last name as the Album Title, and highlight 'NEW TOP LEVEL ALBUM' the click next.
10. Highlight your name and then click next.
11. Next its going to ask you if you want 'small, medium, or large' pictures, I'd choose medium, but it doesn't matter.
12. YAY! And you're done.
Did I mention you can directly link these pics for your myspace or other places that support HTML? Well you can and feel free to.
Well please becareful when messin around the website because you can mess some things up.

Some folks believe that newborn kittens, just like newborn humans, find comfort and security in the sound of their mothers’ and their siblings’ heartbeats. That the heartbeat, real or simulated, improves their chances for survival. I can’ t help but believe that this must also be true for the rest of us, including, if not especially, the elderly among us. There is comfort and healing in the very heartbeats of those we love,— spouses, children, grandparents, lovers, pets— and the closer to the heart we keep...
